FAQs
Can Pre-Aging colors be used on outdoor projects?
No. Pre-Aging is intended for interior use only and should be paired with Oil Plus 2C only.
When is it appropriate to use Pre-Aging Pre-Treatment Stain?
Pre-Aging is a water-based dye stain that also delivers an aged appearance but is non-reactive, making it suitable for virtually any wood species and ensuring a more consistent, even coloration. Additionally, while tannin-reactive stains like Rubio Monocoat Fumed may fade or shift in color over time, Pre-Aging offers greater color stability for long-lasting results.
